Stupid comments from stupid people!

How tired is this?

September 1, 2000 "A look into the crystal ball" by Andy Bitter Sports Editor/Badger Herald

I just got back from a meeting with this prestigious group of soothsayers. Here’s what they had to say (I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised): Sept. 9 vs. Oregon: Petrified by the sight of Oregon’s hideous road uniforms, which look like they were recycled out of mesh baseball hats from the mid-’80s, quarterback Brooks Bollinger refuses to enter the game.

Weak in schedule? What has he been drinking lately? NDG-approved malted beverages? We'll make him regret his words on September 9th

Situation: Chris Chambers, Wisconsin's leading returning receiver, is out with a stress fracture in his right foot.

Implication: Not as bad as you would think. Wisconsin is deep in receivers and weak in schedule (Western Michigan, Oregon, Cincinnati) before Chambers' expected return on Sept. 23 against Northwestern. Coach Barry Alvarez has toyed with the idea of switching All-American corner Jamar Fletcher to offense ala Charles Woodson. If you count his seven interceptions last season, Fletcher is the Badgers' fifth-leading returning receiver.

TommyBoy needs to rewind the Sun Bowl tape and put on his glasses!

Possible pitfallsalong the way for Badgers
Oregon: The Ducks are UW's first early season opponent from a major conference since Syracuse in 1997, and we all know what happened then -- a 34-0 loss. The good news is Oregon looks like a typical Pacific 10 Conference team, all offense and no defense.

Here's our analysis of every PAC 10 game each week during the season including our predictions and ranking on the Must-See level. 10 means sell the house, sell the kids, do what you must to see this game. 1 means feel free to appease the spouse and watch the Home & Garden channel.

#7 Nevada at Oregon
The Ducks should be able to score at will against the Wolfpack but Nevada QB David Neill should be able to throw against the UO secondary. Must See Rating: 4

I'd like to introduce them to Rashad Bauman -HELLO!
