QUACK BABY QUACK
as told by Rubber Ducky
Well it happens to everybody, and I'm glad it happened to us in week two against a non-conference opponent. We were flat as a buck-toothed rodents' tail! Oh sure, we won by two touchdowns, but after the tremendous pre-season hype and the unbearable build-up to the Wisconsin game, I guess a let down is only human nature. The good news? We're good enough now to have a game like that and still manage to win a game we're supposed to win. We have 2 weeks to get ready for the next victims at the Asylum, USC. Two down and One to go!

Arizona State @ #12 UCLA
Arizona State is showing improvement under their new coach, and should play
the Cardinal tough, but Stanford is a very scary team.
My Pick-Cardinal
California @ Rutgers
Two teams coming off of blowout losses. I really thought the Bears would improve
this year, the price on Holmoes' house just went down $10,000.
My pick-Illini
Washington @ #1 Miami
Huskies were unable to score a touchdown on offense against a decent Michigan
team. Think they'll be able to score against the 'canes?
My Pick-Hurricanes
Colorado @ Washington State
After getting worked over by a very good Fresno State team, the buffs came
back to pound a top-25 Colorado State team. The coogs are off to a fast start
and are making big plans in the Palouse. Scale back those plans.
My Pick-Buffaloes
Montana State @ Oregon State
The (snicker) fighting (?) bobcats have lost 18 games in a row. Oh well, the
school will get it's biggest paycheck of the football season. Beavers better
get the kinks out, UCLA looms in 2 weeks.
My Pick-Beavers
Arizona, USC and Oregon all play BYE this week? Isn't that a
little unfair? I predict all three teams will not lose this week.
